Northwestern Theological Seminary is primarily a graduate school. Bachelor degrees may still be awarded, but often as part of a combination Bachelor and Masters Degree Program. Credit will be assessed toward your Bachelor Degree, based on prior ministry and educational experience as well as evaluation examinations, to determine your current competency in Bible centered knowledge..

 Northwestern Theological Seminary is an institution of higher learning, which              grants degrees based on pragmatic, as well as formal, considerations. 

The academic and professional goals of Northwestern Theological Seminary are:

 1. To evaluate the prospective student’s formal and informal schooling and life experience and to assess for credits which some cases may be applied toward a degree program.  

2. To prescribe an accredited online educational curriculum for the individual student that will lead the student to their desired degrees while providing a learning experience which allows the student  to be able to recall and apply the knowledge acquired through educational coursework, assignments, research papers, thesis and dissertation.  

 3. To facilitate the student’s work towards his or her selected accredited online degrees by considering both educational obligation and employment circumstances, as well as family needs and other responsibilities.  

4. To continually evaluate institutional practices and maintain the highest possible academic and professional Christian standards for Northwestern Theological Seminary.  

5.  To continually evaluate curriculum and maintain coursework responsive to changing needs which include advanced and accelerated, non- traditional learning methodologies relative to Christ centered learning.

Based on your Word of Honor, we will assume that the information provided is factual and true. Similarly, because our students complete their programs by correspondence, without oversight, our entire seminary must be based on mutual trust. God is our judge.
