Online Bachelor's Degrees
The Northwestern Theological Seminary Online Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degrees are 120-credit-hour undergraduate academic theology programs offered by our Online Seminary in a specific "Christian Major" discipline. The program is designed to give students a deeper knowledge of the Bible and Theology, while providing a focus on the student's chosen major.
Life Experience and Educational Credits may be transferable to the student's academic program, requiring less time to fulfill the credit requirement.
Bachelor of Theology - (B.Th.) / Bachelor of Biblical Studies (BBS)
Both these degrees aim to prepare students for “biblical, servant leadership” in their personal lives, local churches, and on the mission field. It provides foundational theological education and practical skills for those called to formal ministry, but also cultivates transferable skills applicable to a wide array of professions. Rather than merely reading the Bible, students learn to “correctly read, interpret, and apply the Bible” to their lives and ministries.
