At the same time, indigenous churches in Asia, Africa and Latin America have been growing faster than ever before. In almost every part of the world, there has also been a rapid rise of Pentecostal movements, post-denominational churches and other informal networks of Christian communities. Nonwhite Roman Catholic and Protestant churches continue to grow in the southern hemisphere, and among ethnic minorities and new immigrants in the north.
